Gig Guide: Your Dose of Live Music in Perth, February 2016

posted in: Gig Guide | 0

With Christmas, New Years and Australia Day already done and dusted, February (sadly!) doesn’t bring with it any more public holidays to let loose with… but the live music scene in Perth is buzzing with some seriously awesome gigs – so that’s something to look forward too!

Season 4 of The Newport Record Club still has heaps more action on offer and doesn’t finish up until March, so if you haven’t checked it out yet make sure you add it to the list for this month. Laneway Festival is another big one to look out for, a few FREE music gigs and a hell of a lot of tribute gigs after the recent losses of David Bowie and Motohead’s Lemmy. In support of the recent bushfires down south, keep an eye out for local relief concerts helping to raise funds too. Reggae legend Bob Marley also celebrates his birthday this month so there’s lots of cool gigs happening on his big day!

Got some cool live music in Perth to share? If you would like to feature your band’s gig in the Toward Music monthly gig guide, please contact me with the details to be included.
