Well, that came around quickly! February 2018 is here and with that comes Fringe World – Perth’s largest and most popular annual festival, and a whole lot of live tunes. There will be a hub of music, dance and comedy acts across the city to celebrate Fringe. Make sure you check the full guide on what’s on here.

The Perth gig guide also sees some big acts make their way over. Rise Against, Saliva, Unwritten Law, Darryl Braithwaite and TLC will all make an appearance for February. On the local front, The Caballeros, The Little Lord Street Band, Scarlet Drive, Cellophane and Lucy Peach will be launching new releases. Laneway Festival is also secured for this month and tributes across the city to David Bowie, AC/DC’s Bon Scott and Bob Marley.

The Beat and The Selecter | Co-Headline Tour

Info: Ska-punk giants, The Selecter and The Beat, are joining forces that will see them hitting Australian shores in early 2018. The Selecter and The Beat emerged from the UK’s late 70s/early 80s ska revival—AKA the ‘2 Tone movement’—which also gave rise to the likes of The Specials and Madness.
