This year is moving way too quickly! Between the amount of awesome live music that’s been hitting the local venues to keep us entertained and the “summer” that seems to be lingering on, April is already off to a great start. On the local front Marley Wynn launches his new album at Clancy’s, The Jets come back for some rockin’ action, Timothy Nelson puts out a limited release on wax, soul time hits the Indi Bar over the Easter long weekend and Record Store Day is celebrated at Rhubarb Records.

The iconic Ian Moss will be performing at Fremantle’s Fly By Night for his Matchbook tour, A Day on the Green brings Cyndi Lauper and Blondie to WA shores, RTRFM’s In the Pines just got bigger – again, Ash Grunwald hits Perth for an exclusive show and You Am I’s Tim Rogers makes a few appearances across Perth. Info: 25 Bruised Boysenberry Ave is the debut solo LP from talismanic Fremantle songwriter Marley Wynn. Produced by Ricky Maymi (of The Brian Jonestown Massacre), the album recalls at once both the passion and lyricism of McComb and the rock and roll flair of Bowie. Marley Wynn will be launching the album with a six piece band in tow.
